Morgan Konn is an emerging artist and instructor living in Los Angeles. Images from her series, Her House, Her Clothes, have recently been included in shows at SF Camerawork in San Francisco and the Institute of Contemporary Art in San Jose.

She has taught photography courses at San Jose State University, Academy of Art University, Modesto Junior College and UC Berkeley Extension. In teaching, her focus has been building digital-based curriculum for beginning photography. During spring 2007, she taught two sections of beginning photography at San Jose State in which she used Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. She earned her BA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and her MFA from San Jose State University in 2006.

Morgan's work is primarly a photograhic record of performances that explore female material identity. Her work has earned several awards including an Excellence in Photography Scholarship and an SPE Student Scholarship. In 2006 she was a panel speaker at the SPE National Conference in Chicago with artists Melanie Pullen, Adrienne Pao, Robin Lasser and Erin V. Sotak.

Between her undergraduate and graduate education, Morgan contributed to several Lonely Planet Guidebooks, taught high school art, worked as a marketing coordinator, graphic designer and a photo editor.
